Bundaberg

Famous for its world-class Bundaberg Rum, the Bundaberg region is also home to the largest nesting and hatching rookery for loggerhead turtles on the Australian East Coast.

Just a four-hour drive, train ride or 45-minute flight north of Brisbane, there is a passionate tourism industry ready to welcome you to the Bundaberg Region.

Stretching from the coral cays of the Southern Great Barrier Reef in the east, over the rich red soils and vibrant city of Bundaberg, the rolling hinterlands and storybook towns of Gin Gin and Childers, to the breathtaking natural wonders of the North Burnett in the west - there is plenty to see and do whilst working and living in the Bundaberg Region.

Whether you like to spend your days off swimming alongside the giant marine life that frequent the waters of Lady Elliot and Lady Musgrave Island, getting back to nature with a hike through a National Park, or feasting on fresh produce that has been grown, caught, brewed and distilled in every corner of the region – mixing work and leisure has never been so easy.

From roles in hospitality, agriculture and everything in between, there are employment opportunities for everyone, and our dynamic region is ready and waiting to share our world-class experiences, stunning beaches, accessible reef and warm hospitality with you, when you work here in Bundaberg, on the Southern Great Barrier Reef.
